St Katherine Rings

Dear friends, for our latest fund raising endeavor we have genuine silver rings from the Holy Monastery of St Katherine at Mount Sinai, Egypt. The rings are blessed on the Holy Relics and incorrupt hand of the saint. The rings are in remembrance of the ring given to St Katherine by Christ: The Theotokos then took the right hand of the maiden and said:  "My Child, give her a ring as a token of Thy betrothal to her, so as to deem her worthy of Thy Kingdom."  The Master Christ then gave her a beautiful ring, saying:  "Behold, this day I take thee as Mine unsullied bride forever.  Diligently preserve this troth inviolate, taking no man to thyself!"

Included with each ring is an icon of Panagia of Jerusalem and a prayer rope blessed on the Holy Tomb of Christ.

All money raised from these sales goes to the needs of our sisterhood in Jerusalem. We appreciate your support.

For customers who purchase 5 or more packs, they will receive some cotton wool that was used to clean the Holy Tomb with myrrh on Holy Saturday morning before the Litany of the Holy Fire.

Please note, these rings are not purchased from shops that sell replicas. These rings were given to us by the monks from St Katherines.
